I have been wanting to build a 3d printer every since the reprap mendel models first came out a few years ago.
I have chosen to build the Rostock for many reasons. It has fewer parts, cheaper to build, larger build area and to watch is in action is amazing.
The Rostock Delta printer was first created by a man name - Johann Rocholl.
The most informative site I have found so far is a site created by Russ Gries called RWGResearch.
This is an awesome site with Russ going into great detail on his rostock printer construction, from start to finish.
His youtube channel is fille with information. EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE!!

Another very informative site created by Jonathan Keep.
I like this site because this guy is also VERY INFORMATIVE and his Rostock style printer PRINTS IN CERAMIC CLAY!!
Jonathan also goes into great detail on his construction and setup and provides downloadable plans for building the structure!!

Yet another very important site of reference is the DeltraTrix 3d printer page on instructables.com
I have referenced this site numerous times for an overall process for building my printer.
He has downloadable plans as well. But I had trouble opening the dxf and autocad drawing in solidworks and solidworks edrawings. Didn't format correctly so couldnt get any exact structural measurments.
AND WAS FULLY FUNDED!!
